Ronald Douglas Campbell, 63, of King Carswell Road, Kimball, WV,
went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at his
residence with his family by his side. Born April 10, 1954,
he was the son of the late Frank Douglas Campbell and Nellie
Ronald was a retired coalminer from Consolidated Coal Company where
he worked for 36 years. He enjoyed four-wheeling, camping, fishing,
classic cars and car shows. Ronald was a loving husband, father, brother,
grandfather and great friend to all that knew him and was a resident
of Carswell most of his life.
Other than his parents Ronald was preceded in death by both
maternal and paternal grandparents.
Leaving to cherish his memory are: His loving and devoted wife
of 16 years, Florence "Flo" Campbell. One sister, Cathy Mays and husband
Jim of Princeton, WV. One brother, Frankie Campbell and wife Burretta
"Boo" Campbell of Carswell. One daughter, Maria Campbell of Capels, WV.
One step-daughter, Angela Cleary of Princeton, WV. Two sons; Ronnie
Campbell of Capels and Tim Campbell of Montcalm, WV. Two step-sons;
Justin Cleary of Princeton and Wesley Mitchem of Bluefield, WV. One
grandson, Damien and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family
Services will be conducted Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 1:PM with
Pastor Angie Gillespie officiating at the Widener Funeral Home Chapel
in Northfork, WV. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park,
Bluewell, WV. Friends may call Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from
6 until 8:PM at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
