Robert F. Caudill, 74, of Princeton passed away September 25, 2017 after a long illness. Born January 22, 1943 at Worth, WV, he was the son of the late Robert H. Caudill and Lucy Forrest Caudill.
He graduated from Northfork-Elkhorn High School in 1961. He moved to Washington, DC and became a master plumber and later moved back to Princeton, working as a plumber until retiring at age 62. He was a member of Plumbers Local #5. Robert attended Princeton Praise and Worship Center where he taught Sunday School. He made weekly visits to several local nursing homes where he taught the Bible and sang. Robert was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of seven years, Deborah Jackson Caudill; daughter Ann Marie McIntyre of Manassas, VA; four sisters, Rita Tyler and husband Perry of Lexington, NC, Cecelia Whitlow of Stafford, VA, Alice Cartrette and husband Sam of Lexington, NC and Debby England and husband Tommy of Stafford, VA; one brother, Barry Caudill of Stafford, VA and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Rowland Bailey Funeral Chapel with Rev. Johnny Wayne Gray, Rev. Roger Yates and Rev. Jay West officiating.
Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 28 at the funeral home.
