Renee Hearn's Story

Renee Hearn Gates Moore, departed this life, Monday, February 5, 2018 at her home on the Old Oakvale Road in Princeton.
She was born in Princeton, on May 22, 1931 to the late William Harrison and Anna Wiley Hearn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Q. Moore and her sisters, Mildred Ulmer of Hopewell, VA and Garnet Theus of Atlanta, GA.
She leaves behind her beloved sons, Randy Gates of Princeton and Tim Gates of Savannah, GA; five grandchildren, Stacey Varney of Huntington, WV, Justin, Jennifer and Whitney of Savannah, GA, Hannah of Princeton and three great-grandchildren, Abigail, Lily Ann and Grayson of Huntington; three step-daughters, Carolyn Jones of Hopewell, VA, Barbara Andrews of Yale, VA, and Patricia Peterson of Cumberland, VA. Also surviving are her niece, Linda Ulmer of Hopewell, VA and nephew, Jon Theus of Douglasville, GA.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton with Pastor Larry Dyer officiating.
Renee was a born again believer who knew and understood John 11:25-26
