PRINCETON Ralph Leon Kiblinger, 88, of Princeton, passed away peacefully while sleeping at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Born December 24, 1929 in Kegley, he was the son of the late Percy Kiblinger and Lois Walker Kiblinger.
Ralph retired from the US Air Force and also served in the US Army. Ralph earned many military honors, including National Recruiter of the Year. Ralph and Nelma were general contractors and developed Green Acres Subdivision in Princeton. Ralph and his wife were business owners of Longhorn Steakhouse in Princeton and beloved members of the Twilight Twirlers Square Dancers. He was a member of Rich Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelma Delp Kiblinger, who passed in 1999; and two brothers, Edward and Don Kiblinger.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Sisk of Bristol, TN, Carol Marshall and husband, Bob of Midlothian, VA and Diana Kiblinger of Princeton; seven grandchildren, T.J. Sisk of Port Richey, FL, Terri Hall of Hickory, NC, Rajah Shrader of Princeton, Keith, Jason and Scott Marshall all of Midlothian, VA and Brian Kiblinger of Princeton; seven great-grandchildren, Brett Hill of Clearwater, FL, Kylene Hall of Hickory, NC, Makayla Shrader of Princeton and Brooke, Thomas, Layne and Lyndsey Marshall all of Midlothian, VA; and two sisters, Janet Beals and Betty Cartner both of North Carolina.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from noon until 1:45 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
A cryptside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton with the Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Pallbearers will include T.J. Sisk, Keith Marshall, Jason Marshall and Scott Marshall.
