Phyllis Ann Collins

Phyllis Ann Collins, 78, of Spike Lane Princeton, died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born April 12, 1940 in Lex, WV, she was the daughter of the late Barnie and Pricie Ellis Rowe.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who loved her family.
Phyllis was a former cook for the McDowell County School System.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, James Harvey Collins, a son James H. Collins, Jr., siblings, Rita Lee, Barbara Lambert and Darrell "Eddie" Rowe.
She is survived by her loving sons, Franklin Collins and Larry Dean Collins; Siblings, Sadie Stevenson and husband Steve, Linda Green, Cathy Workman and Barnie Rowe, Jr.; Six grandchildren; Four great-grandchildren; Host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Phyllis Ann Collins will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Chaplain Danny Gunnoe officiating. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The Collins family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.

May God bless the family of Aunt Phyllis. I love you all ♡ Losing a Mom is the hardest thing ever. I'm truly sorry, but think she is no longer suffering. She's with our family members who have gone before us. We will see them again one day. ♡
