BLUEFIELD Phillip Todd Nicewander, 49, of Locust Grove Road, Bluefield departed this life Thursday evening, July 27, 2017 after an 18 month battle with pancreatic cancer with his loving family by his side.
Born July 7, 1968 in Bluefield, he was the son of Ruth Pricilla Goodman Nicewander of Bluefield and Walter Nicewander.
Prior to his illness, he was a professional truck driver for Alliance Health Care. Todd was a truly generous man. He loved his family first and foremost, he loved wheeling and dealing and most of all, making people laugh while pulling the wool over their head. Todd was gifted with his hands; he could fix or repair anything for himself or his friends.
He will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by the love of his life, his devoted daughter, Kirstin Nicewander "Baby Girl", his companion, Debbie Pauley all of Bluefield, Jacob C. Henry Benfield who was like a son to him of Hagerstown, MD. Two sibling: Tina Wallace of Lashmeet & Russell Nicewander of Bluefield. Nephews, Rodney Wallace & Rusty Todd Nicewander, two great nephews; Ethan & Elijah Wallace.
