PRINCETON Alice Pauline Martin, 97, of Princeton, died Sunday, February 4, 2018. Born January 15, 1921 at Lilly, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie A. Farley and Nola Lake Hedrick Farley.
Pauline worked for Capital City Cleaners in Princeton for 28 years. She later was employed by Peerless Cleaners in Glenwood, Richmond Cleaners in Richmond, VA, Princeton Cleaners and Paramount Cleaners. She retired from Clothesline Express in Princeton after 16 years. Pauline worked at Ched's Discount Store in Princeton for 12 years. She was a member of the Princeton Moose Lodge and DAV. She loved to sew and cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy S. Martin in 1967; and her special friend of 42 years, Warren Richardson in 2012.
Pauline is survived by several cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastor David Cooper and Pastor Paul Looney officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mercer County Animal Shelter, 961 Shelter Road, Princeton, WV 24740.
Friends may visit Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from noon until 12:45 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
