Pansy Lee's Story
Pansy Lee Skeens Waldron, 104, of Princeton died Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Heritage Hall in Rich Creek.
Born September 30, 1913, in Princeton she was the daughter of the late John and Ann Blankenship Skeens. Pansy retired from Maidenform and formerly worked for The Shirt Factory. She was a member of Advent Christian Church in Princeton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Greever Waldron; one sister, Stella Mills; and three brothers, Lawrence, James, and Carl Skeens.
Survivors include her son, Ted Skeens of Princeton; brother, Homer Skeens of Princeton; grandson, James Skeens and wife Gracie, their children, Kayla Zimmerman, Breann, Jarad, and Nicholas Skeens, and their grandchildren, Maddison Skeens and Cooper Zimmerman; special daughter-in-law, Patty Hypes; several nieces and nephews, including Mike Mills and wife Wanda, and Carol Skeens, and those she helped raise, Nichole Skeens, Nathan Skeens, and Victoria Skeens.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Delmar Stillwell and Rick Pennington officiating, and Patty Hypes eulogist. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday January 22, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9:30 a.m. Monday.
