Norrita "Ann" Pettrey, 66, of Princeton died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born February 11, 1951 in Princeton she was the daughter of the late Betty Ann Harvey Pross and Delmer "Red" Pettrey.
Ann was a graduate of Princeton High School and was a former tax deputy at the Mercer County Courthouse. She was a member of the Landmark First Church of God in Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Wayne Stroupe; one sister, Judith Arlene Pettrey; her step father, August "Gus" Pross; and one niece, Kimberly Pettrey.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Vance Stroupe, Jr. and wife Angie of Princeton and Michael Keith Stroupe of Charleston, WV; five grandchildren, MaeAnn Sophie Stroupe, Vance Alexander Stroupe, Chloe Elizabeth Stroupe, Madison Renee Stroupe, and Hannah Christine Stroupe; one sister, Karen Sue Pettrey of Princeton; one brother, Mike Pettrey and wife Sarah of Burnt Chimney, VA; one nephew, Jon Cooper and wife Ashley; three nieces, Melissa Duncan Stanton and husband Scott, Lisa Pettrey, and Jill Tieman and husband Shane; and the father of her children, Ronald Stroupe of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Scott Hodge officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Park Cemetery in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
