When I first began attending Mass at Sacred Heart as a teenager, Nancy was one of the first people who very graciously welcomed me and immediately treated me as though I was a long lost relative. She constantly gave me encouragement, advice, laughter, and love over the years. Because of her, coming to Mass every Sunday was like being with family.

I will always remember her as a kind, affectionate, God-centered person. She has departed this mortal life, but she will be fondly remembered by so many family and friends for years to come.

Nancy was just a true gem and one of the most kind, angelic people I have ever encountered. I can remember even getting sodas at Tosti's Place when Sophia Krulatz would take me to to visit Nancy. Rest in Peace dear woman.

I always enjoyed hanging out at Tosti's Place. She was always so nice and welcoming and I have great memories of her coming to the Simplicio residence when I was a child. The whole Tosti family felt like extended family.

Condolences on the passing of Nancy Tosti. For years while growing up, our family would travel from Florida to the mountains of West Virginia each summer. A big part of that was hanging out at Tosti's and playing pinball or having the families over for whatever italian meal would feed our crew! Whenever we needed food or other essentials, Grandma Simplicio would simply say " go to Nancy Tosti's place and just tell them what we need...she will write it down for me.." Old school community trust and store credit and a safe place to be around are memories we will always cherish. We were lucky enough to visit a few years ago and while she was up there in years, she was very lucid and rememb...ered us just as if it were 30 years ago and we were kids looking to hang out and socialize. I do not think that she realized the integral part she had on her community..or on a bunch of rambunchious kids from Florida on vacation in the mountains of WVA. She will continue to live in our memories.Read more

Dear Anthony, Maria, and family: we are saddened to hear of your dear mother's passing. Nancy was a great lady. I will always remember how kind she was when I would go into Tosti's and she would put a little piece of candy in the palm of my hand and close my fingers around it, then wink at me...Loved her so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always. God bless you.

“Mom” will always hold a very special place in my heart 💜
And all of you gave her the best gift she could ever ask for- she was able to stay “at home” with all of you.
And now she is truly HOME💞
Peace be with us all- We are all better for knowing her.

A lovely lady from a great family. Cannot even begin to count the times I shopped in Tosti’s, and either Nancy or Raymond or both would be there. Condolences to the family. RIP

Anthony, Maria, John, Robbie, Angel and all grandchildren -

It's very difficult to even begin to describe the type of person Nancy (Nana Bellarina) was, but it had to be obvious to all who ever met her that she was the most positive person most of us have ever known.

With very few exceptions, she accepted everything life dealt her and told all who would listen to "always put God first."

I have so many memories that included Nana, as I was in their home almost as often as I was my own. I spent many nights with Ray (NuNu) & Nana over the years and I can honestly say I never left hungry - not for food nor hunger for laughter.

We will always miss Nana, but our Faith tells us that children
...of God have many mansions waiting for them in Heaven....and that we should not grieve for those who have died like those who have no faith, for we will see them again and they now sparkle like stars in the sky. Nana was certainly a child of God and I imagine her mansion is well suited for her. And I have no doubt Nana is sparkling just as she did here on earth.

Requiescat in pace, Nana

May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

The Hail Mary:

AVE MARIA, gratia plena, Dominus tecum. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus. Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus, nunc, et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
