PRINCETON Nancy Faye Evans, 73, went to be with her heavenly father on November 9th, 2017 after a short illness at Princeton Community Hospital.
Nancy was born in Fremont, OH on November 22, 1943 to Glenn & Helena Shoemaker. She attended Fremont Ross High School; she resided in Fremont, OH until she moved to Flat Top.
Nancy was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Glenn Shoemaker and Helena Baumer, and her husband of 15 years Robert P. Evans.
Nancy is survived by her only child to whom she loved with her entire being Richard G. Evans & wife Leeann, two grandsons that she dearly loved Matthew R. Evans, Kyle A. Evans & fiancee Megan Lawhorn, and her great granddaughter who she adored Kyleigh Evans all of Princeton, one brother Ronald Shoemaker & wife Donna of Fremont, OH, along with several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was an avid sports fan and cheered for the WV Mountaineers "GO EER's" and of course she loved the Cleveland Browns, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was also an animal lover and loved her dogs.
She had two wonderful neighbors Dale & Patsy Walker that helped her with many tasks and errands, she also enjoyed talking and spending time with Debbie and Dale Morehead, and her friend Dave Cunningham who she enjoyed talking to and playing sports trivia with.
Nancy made a lasting impression on everyone that she came in contract with and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
A time of gathering and sharing with the family will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton, those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM.
Pallbearers will be her two grandsons: Matthew Evans, Kyle Evans, Mark Miller, Kevin Neeley, Robbie McGuire & Dale Walker.
