Minnie Chloe Spencer Robinson, 84 of Caraway Street, Princeton passed away Monday, September 11, 2017. She was born in Covington, KY on July 29, 1933 and grew up in Hemphill, WV. She was a 1951 graduate of Welch High School. After marrying the love of her life on July 4, 1953 she moved to Coalwood where she dedicated her life to raising her children and was a member of the Coalwood Community United Methodist Church. She retired in 1995 after 21 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service and moved to Princeton where she was a member of Carr Memorial United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Gail Milton Robinson, her parents Mabel Worthington Spencer and Theodore Roosevelt Spencer, brothers, Charles Spencer and John Spencer, sister Ann Gilley and her special brother in law, Bob Gilley.
Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Keith Robinson and his wife Donna of Coalwood and a daughter Lisa Gail Wilson and her husband Joe of Princeton. Three grandchildren, Alan Keith Robinson of Coalwood, Allison Ann Robinson Hubbard and her husband Jeffrey of Springville, VA and Andrew Joseph Wilson of Morgantown; One great granddaughter, Piper Robinson; One sister Janet Hardison and her husband Charlie of Moneta, VA; Five nieces and eight nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Minnie Robinson will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 16, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Reverend Gerald Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family Friday evening from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home.
