Michael Delano Waller Michael Delano Waller, 72, of Princeton died Friday, November 2, 2018 at his residence. Born September 23, 1946, in Big Four, WV, he was the son of the late Malcolm Monroe Waller and Gladys Geneva Stroupe Waller. Michael was a retired truck driver for Cole Truck Parts and was the founder and co-owner of Waller AMC-Jeep in Green Valley. He won the national Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge Troubleshooting Championship in 1964 and 1965. He was a member of Princeton Moose Lodge #1521 and Bluefield Jaycees. He was an avid bowler and had travelled the PBA circuit at one time. Michael had a great sense of humor and was easy going. He was very generous with his time and always willing to help others. He loved his family especially his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Delano Waller, II; and two brothers, Jim and Roy Waller.
Michael is survived by two sons, Dennis Waller and wife Michelle of Beckley, Roy Waller and wife Megan Benton of Camp Creek; one daughter, Michelle Waller-Akers and husband Brian of Rocky Gap, VA; six grandchildren, Nadia, Natalie, and Alex Waller, Rian Akers, Jessica Weatherby and husband Stephen, and Emily Waller; one great-grandson, Matthew Weatherby; three sisters, Evelyn Anderson and husband Robert of Ceredo, WV, Ellen Moore of Princeton, and Patricia Waller-Shepherd and husband Carlos Reynolds of Beckley; three brothers, Carl Waller of Hartfield, VA, Ray Waller and wife Peggy of Elizabethtown, KY, and Jerry Waller of Roanoke, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Craig Hammond officiating. In honoring Michael's wishes, he will be cremated following the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour Friday.
