Michael Allen Osborne, age 62, of Cedar Bluff, VA passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, VA.
Michael was born in Richlands, VA and was the son of the late Charles and Trula Reedy Osborne. He was a graduate of Richlands High, and was still an avid Richlands Football Fan. He was a teacher's aide for the Tazewell County Public Schools; and he enjoyed spending time coaching little league sports. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and grandkids. Michael attended the Doran Apostolic Church and he made his home in the Cedar Bluff area all of his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joey Osborne; and two brothers, Roger William Osborne and Larry Eugene Osborne.
He is survived by: His Wife, Gayle Ruble Hilton Osborne. Two Sons: Michael Osborne of Knoxville, TN, Matthew Osborne of Grundy, VA, Tony Trammel. Two Step Sons: Eugene Hilton of Falls Mills, VA, David Hilton of Tazewell, VA. Sister, Sandra Bickford of Bedford, VA. Two Sisters-in-Law: Judy Osborne of Baptist Valley, VA, Roberta Osborne of Richlands, VA. Special Friends: Harold and Gail Bentley. Six Grandchildren: Christian Osborne, Ben Osborne, Connor Osborne, T. J. Osborne, Kaden Hilton and Hadley Hilton. A host of family and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Michael Allen Osborne will be conducted Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, VA with the Rev. Kenny Pruett officiating. Interment will follow at Hankins Cemetery in Richlands, VA. Pallbearers will be: Eugene Hilton, David Hilton, Harold Bentley, Dusty Ballard, Jeff Woodward, and Josh Osborne.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Friday evening at the funeral home.
