Mary's Story

Mary Nemchick Davis, 95, of Princeton died Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born March 3, 1922 in Allison, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles Nemchick and Mary Yatsko Nemchick.
Mary was a retired buyer of ladies and children's clothing for Island Creek Mining Stores. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Princeton and a member of the Rachel Fulton Circle, Holiday Sunday School Class, and United Methodist Women. She was also a life member of the Princeton Bud and Blossom Garden Club and a member of the Four Seasons Homemakers Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Pierce "C.P." Davis; two sisters, Anna Mae Nagle and Irene Klem; and two brothers, Charles Nemchick and Paul Nemchick.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers and close friends, Gene Shinault and Cheryl Shinault of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Scott Sears officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton. Men of the Church will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Thursday.
