Mabel's Story

PRINCETON Mabel Louise Stella, 82, of City View Heights, Princeton went home to be with her Lord & Savior Thursday evening, June 29, 2017 with her family by her side.
Born February 26, 1935 at Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Nathan Tabor & Mildred Terry Tabor.
Louise was a graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1953. She was a former employee for the Maidenform Corporation, Glenwood Park Retirement Village and had served as a private duty caregiver for many families.
She was a charter member of the Maranatha Baptist Church where she was faithful in her attendance and serving.
She will be long remembered for her love and acceptance of people, and her enjoyment of birds and flowers
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Lawrence Stella, Sister Ruth Sigmon and her loving and faithful dog Oscar.
Survivors include her devoted and loving children, India "Mitzi" Cline & husband Tony, Jackie Tonette Sutherland, & Mark Anthony Stella & wife Lesley. Grandchildren, Barry Cline, Jessica Knight, Brooke Dunn & husband Daniel, Andrea Sutherland (Hope Stanley), William Stella & wife Christine, Autumn Stella & Hatteras Stella. Great Grandchildren, Kellen, Kolton &Kenji Knight, Stella, Daniel II, Wyatt Dunn. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and best friend Rose Kelly.
Services to celebrate the life of Louise Stella will be held 6:00 P.M. Sunday evening, July 2, 2017 at the Maranatha Baptist Church on the Oakvale Road, Princeton with Pastor Marvin Mills officiating.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the Memorial Funeral Directory on Monday by 10:30 A.M.
Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until the service hour at the church.

Deacons of the church will serve as pallbearers.
