Lucille's Story

Lucille Beavers, 90, of Welch, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018.
Born July 27, 1927 in Twin Branch, WV, she was the daughter of the late, Lonnie and Mary Rose Mitchell.
Lucille was a very active person, she loved to cook, sew, and was a very good bowler. She loved to talk to people about the Bible, her God Jehovah, and his Kingdom as she was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Beavers, a granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Beavers, 4 brothers, Jess, Clarence, Leland and Walter Mitchell; 3 sisters, Ethel Musick, Eleanor Moore and Sylvia Beicher.
Those left to cherish her memories are her son Jack and Wife Cheryl of Welch, 3 grandchildren Kelly and wife Karen of Salisbury, NC, Jacqui Rodriques and husband John of Apopka, Fl. and Clint of Salisbury, NC., her great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dorothy Pack of Florida, Ruth Kotsalis of NC and Carol Hodges of Roanoke, Va.; 1 brother, James Mitchell of NC, many nephews and nieces and many friends.
A memorial talk will be given on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, RT 16, North Welch, by Danny Anderson a Minister of Jehovah's Witnesses in Welch.
