Lisa Gail's Story
Lisa Gail Fletcher Sigmon, 56, of Princeton, WV and formerly of Narrows, departed this life Thanksgiving day, November 23, 2017 at her home. Born June 4, 1961, in Giles County, she was a daughter of the late Roy A Fletcher and Bonnie Gillispie Fletcher Stevers. She was a graduate of Narrows High School, class of 1979, and a graduate of New River Community College studying in the technical field. She was honored to be class president and a member of the deans list, and received a certificate of appreciation for volunteer services to fellow students.
She was a former member of the American Welders Association and was a journeyman welder with the Iron Workers Association. Before she was disabled she worked for Brison & Root of Houston, Texas. Lisa was a Christian of the Pentecostal Faith and in the fellowship of Bethel Chapel in Clendennin.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Mark T Sigmon of Princeton; her sister Melinda "Mitzi" Wilburn of Narrows; her nephew and niece Craig Wilburn, Michelle Wilburn, and Shelby Cole; her great nephew Memphis Wagner; her beloved aunt Linda G French of Bland County; and many special friends, Theresa and William Thomason, Terry Anderson, L D Campbell, Ricky Bennett, her friends at the community college and at work who were like family.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery, Mt View, Giles Co., VA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services.
