Linda Howerton, 69, of Lashmeet, died Saturday, December 23, 2017.
Born February 13, 1948 at McComas, she was the daughter of the late Lacy Reed and Thelma Taylor Reed.
Linda was a former employee of Wee Tots Day Care in Lashmeet and was a member of Ridgeview Church of God.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and loved to cook.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Michael Howerton; one son, Greg Howerton and wife Ada of Lake Shawnee; one daughter, Shana Farmer and husband Leslie of Princeton; five sisters, Brenda Cordle of Lashmeet, Edna Browning and husband Fred of Lashmeet, Vacie Lester of Lashmeet, Debbie Shrader and husband Earl of Spanishburg and Janet Denham and husband Jerry of North Carolina; one brother, Rodney Reed and wife Cheryl of Virginia Beach, VA; four grandchildren, Spencer Howerton, Logan Howerton, Leslie Farmer, Jr. and Adrienne Sloan; and two great-grandchildren, Kinsley Rivera and Natalie Farmer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor L.A. Farmer and Pastor Margaret Holt officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 28, 2017 from noon until service hour at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
