Karen Lynn's Story
Karen Lynn Neely Goodman, 36, of Bluefield was met by her heavenly Father Saturday evening, February 24, 2018.
She has won her 11 year battle with brain cancer and is now walking with the Lord; "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27).
Karen was born November 22, 1981 in Bluefield, she was a graduate of Princeton Senior High School and Bluefield State College. She was a medical lab technician at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Her greatest joy was her two children DJ and Ashley. She loved spending time with her children and worshiping her Lord.
Karen was the daughter of the late Terry Neely and the granddaughter of Arthur and Kathleen Neely.
She will be sadly missed by her two children, Ashley and DJ of the home;
Her mother Dana Neely; Sister, Deborah Neely; Mother-in-law, Roxann Harris Williams; Two special nieces, Mariah and Ciara who she loved very much along with her fur buddy Tom; Also, her co-workers at BRMC lab who were her special friends and second family.

Services to celebrate Karen's homegoing will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 1, 2018 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Marvin Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour.
