Joseph Victor "Robin" Nester, 60, of Brandywine Lane Bluefield, WV passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at his home.
Robin was born on April 13, 1957 in Bluefield, WV to Learlene Lilly Nester Baker and the late Vergil Ollen Nester. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield, WV, he was a self-employed carpenter and had formerly been employed by Norfolk and Western Railroad for 17 years.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step-father Culver Eugene Baker and step brothers: William Thomas Baker and Von Rue Nester.
Survivors Include: His mother: Learlene Lilly Nester Baker of the home; One Brother: Doug Nester of Bluewell, WV; Sister in law: Teresa Nester of Wytheville, VA; Half-Sister: Barbara Jean Seria and husband Mark of Newark, DE; Nieces: Emily Jenks and husband Bobby of Cross Lanes, WV, Avalon Seria of Newark, DE; Great niece and nephew: David Leon Jenks and Meredith Nora Jenks.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Tony Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12-1pm at the funeral home.
