Jackie "Jack" Ray Craft, 82, of Princeton went home to meet his Lord early Sunday morning, April 21, 2019 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born May 7, 1936 at Salisbury, NC, he was the son of the late Martin Bruce Craft and Blanche Rogers Craft.
Jack was a graduate of Princeton High School and had served his country honorably with the U.S. Army, obtaining the rank of Sergeant and was of the Methodist faith. Jack was the former owner/operator of Jack Craft Furniture which was formerly Bruce Craft Furniture and Upholstery on the Athens Road in Princeton.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 43 years, Mary Gay White Craft; One loving daughter, Tera Craft Shatsky Bezko and husband Eric of CA; Two grandchildren; Two great-grandchildren; Two loving brothers, Bobby Bruce Craft and Roger Craft and wife Sandy both of Princeton; Several cousins.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Jackie Ray Craft will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 25, 2019 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Dr. David Dockery officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with military honors given under the direction of the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard.
Family and friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
