Inez Mitchell Williams Sadler 83, 216 Orange Street, Bluefield WV, went home to be with the Lord August 9, 2017 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Born May 10, 1934 in Maybeury WV, Inez was the daughter of the late John Henry and Celie Lindsay Mitchell. She attended Genoa and Park Central School in Mercer County. She worked for the city of Bluefield as a crossing guard for many years until her retirement.
In addition to her parents, Inez was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Sadler; three older brothers: George, John, and Paul Mitchell.
Survivors include one sister Alice Smith. She is also survived by five children John Williams, James Williams and wife Margie, Melinda Bane and husband Raymond, Alice Maxwell, and George Sadler; Grandsons: Jew Williams, James Williams Jr. and Casheon Sadler; Granddaughters: Kacelia Barron, Shanita White, and Tasha Fox; four great-grandsons, six great-grand daughters and a host of nieces and nephews. A special recognition for her niece Estella Powell, that was her caregiver.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12pm on Monday, August 14, 2017 at John Stewart United Methodist Church, 102 Jones Street, Bluefield WV with Rev. James H. Mitchell, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be held one-hour prior to the service. Following the service, the interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Bluefield WV.
