KEGLEY — Herbert Lee "Dumpy" Hylton, 58, of Kegley, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his residence. Born January 17, 1958, he was the son of the late Ezra Lee and Wilma Janice Thompson Hylton.
Herbert was tire technician for Perry Brothers Tire Service, Sanford, NC, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Randy Hylton and Alita Hicks.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathy Lynn Walsh Hylton; Two daughters: Jessica Dawn Page & husband David, Candice Nicole Hylton & Richard Nowlin, Jr.;Siblings: Ronnie Hylton & wife Sherry, Anita Lynn Rathburn & husband Matt, Janet Fain, Kay Dunn & husband Danny, Wayne Hylton & wife Jamie, Wanda Hylton and Sandy Hylton; Six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory Athens Road Princeton with Pastor Ralph Calfee officiating. Burial will follow in the Elgood Cemetery. Visitation with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
