Helen Pennington Graham, 89, of Princeton died Monday, September 11, 2017 at Smith Personal Care in Bluefield. Born January 1, 1928 in Bluefield she was the daughter of the late L.C. "Clyde" Pennington and Lillian Moxley Pennington. Helen was a graduate of Princeton High School and attended business school. She retired in 1984 from the Celanese Corporation in Narrows, VA as an accounting clerk with over 30 years service. Following her retirement, she worked at Princeton Church of God filling a variety of positions. Helen was a seventy eight year member of the Princeton Church of God. She was a woman of strong faith who loved her church and church family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. "Bill" Graham, Sr.; and one sister, Anna Blanche Robinette.
Survivors include one son, William D. "Bill" Graham and wife Linda Campbell of Johnson City, TN; one brother, Ernest C. Pennington and wife Joyce of Beaver, WV; three nephews; and two nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Princeton Church of God with her brother Rev. Ernest C. Pennington, Rev. Fred Farley and Dr. Ray Hurt officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton. Men of the church will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the church from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Friday.
