Helen Ann Furches, 65, of Princeton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Ann was born October 19, 1951 in Princeton, she was a daughter of the late Ward B. and Blanche Davis Hedge.
She loved shopping and sewing. Ann was the Office Manager at Mining Electronics for more than 20 years and Timpkin for more than 15 years, retiring in 2015.
Ann was a member of the New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church, Princeton where she served as Sunday School and Church Secretary and Treasurer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Hedge and a sister, Norma Giles.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 44 years, Bentine Furches; a son, Corey Furches and wife, Crystal of Reidsville, NC; a daughter, Amy Clark and husband, James of Bland, VA; three grandchildren, Logan Furches, Ethan Clark, and Cadence Furches; two brothers, Eddie Hedge and wife, Carolyn and Donnie Hedge; extended family and a host of friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Helen Ann Furches will be held 2:00PM Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the New Covenant Pentecostal Church, Princeton with Pastor Ron Reeves assisted by Chaplain Roger H. Lafferty, Jr. Following the service, Ann will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
