Gloria's Story

Gloria Ann Law, loving known as "Boody", departed this life for eternity on May 18, 2017. She was born on November 5, 1945, one of five children, to Edward and Evalena Hollingsworth.
Gloria attended Bluestone Public School. After graduating, she met her husband Mack Allen Law and soon married. Upon marriage, Gloria became a mother and caregiver to her father, until the end of his life. Gloria was originally a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church but later in life began attending Shiloh: A Place of Worship under the leadership of Bishop Charles Stores, III. She attended regularly until her health would no longer permit. However, Gloria's love for Shiloh never diminished.
She was a lifelong employee of the Tazewell County Public School System until retirement. During her employment she received a college certificate in food service.
Gloria always believed the Lord was the head of life and she held on to her faith with great determination. Although facing may challenges in life she always had a positive attitude and caring love for family, friends, and life.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Evalena Hollingsworth; sisters: Dorothy Echols and Alease Green; brother Leo Hollingsworth; son, Tracy Allen Law; granddaughter, Asija Nichole Law; and nephew Corey Hollingsworth.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, her loving and committed husband Mack Allen Law of the home; brother Sylvester (Cecelia) Hollingsworth of New Rochelle, New York; son Trevis Antowine Law of Bluefield, Virginia; and a host of nieces, Nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 1pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 113 Wilson Street, Bluefield, VA 24605, with Pastor Roger Walton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
