Frank's Story

Frank J. Constantino, 93, of Princeton, formerly of Northfork, passed away August 2, 2017 peacefully. Now joining the Lord and his wife Patsy A. Miller Constantino. Born November 6, 1923 in Arlington
(McDowell County), he attended schools in McDowell County and was a 1942 graduate of Northfork High School. After graduating, he went to work in the coal mines working at Algoma, Ashland, Keystone and Maitland. Frank enjoyed playing baseball with teams like the Ashland Miners. Later he played softball with teams (Moose) in Mercer County. Frank also coached little league sports (baseball, basketball, and football). In his retirement years, he enjoyed golfing, making spaghetti and meatballs for his family and gardening. He always enjoyed helping his children and family members anyway he could. Frank was a devoted church member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church first at Powhatan, WV and later at Princeton. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty four years, Patsy Ann Miller Constantino; his parents, Antonio Constantino and Franchesca "Fannie" Falcomato Constantino; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Charles and Mary Constantino; and three brothers-in-law, Eugene "Pete" Peter, Mike Grbac, and Charley Manley.
He is survived by his four children, Patricia Maria Cox (John), Anthonio "T" Constantino (Marie), William "Bill" Constantino (Lois), and Michael Constantino (Lori); grandchildren, Michael Cox (Tabitha), Adam Cox (Jessica), Francis Leitch (Kent), Alex Constantino (Gracie), Angela Wright (Brandon), Marcus Constantino and Kristofer Constantino; great grandchildren, Sam and Aubrey Cox, Miller and West Cox, Izabelle and Joseph Coffee, and Brandon and William Wright; one brother, Willie Constantino; three sisters, Angelina Grbac, Annie Peter and Virginia Manley; brother-in-law, Bernard Charles; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Sebastian Devasya as Celebrant.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton form 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, August 4, 2017 with the Christian Wake Service conducted at 7:30 PM.
