Heaven received an angel on September 9, 2017 when Elizabeth Joyce French passed away at the Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Elizabeth was born September 17, 1933 in Boissevain, VA to the late George and Lucy Murry French. She was a life-long resident of Bluewell and was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers and her grandson Jeremiah Baldwin. She worked as a cook at Frank's La Salute for 20 years.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Cynthia and husband Frederick Baldwin of Bluefield, WV; grandson Fred Baldwin and wife Louise of Glenwood, WV; great grandchildren TJ, Siarrea, Alyssa, and Natalee; and one great great grandchild, Isabella along with several nieces and nephews.
Everyone that knew her knew that she was a kind, giving soul. Born deaf, she never let obstacles get in her way.
Per her wishes, her body has been donated to the WV School of Osteopathic Medicine. No services are planned at this time.
