Doug Myers, 53, of Princeton died Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Born February 5, 1964 at Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of Connie Mae Mitchell Myers of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania and the late Stanley Myers. Doug was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He received the Combat Age Team (CAT) Professional of the Year Award in 1989, which was presented to him by Vice President Dan Quayle. He was a Customer Sales Specialist for mining equipment companies. He was a loving husband and father and loved to watch his daughters participate in sporting events. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with Toby, his loyal dog.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Connie Graham Myers; two daughters, Casey Myers of the home and Brooklyn Myers of Washington, Pennsylvania; one granddaughter, Kaylee Ross and three siblings, Debbie Williams, David Myers and Denise King.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel with Pastor Scott Catron officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. Honoring his request the body has been cremated. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
