Dorothy Beryl Bailey Collins, 87, of Lerona died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born January 5, 1931 in Sandlick Junction she was the daughter of the late Lawrence "Red" Bailey and Ethel Donovan. She was a salesperson and homemaker, and of the Church of Christ faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Nannie Bailey; her husband, Henry Jackson Collins, Sr.; son-in-law, Tony Mathena; grandson, Jose Valencia-Hill; great-granddaughters, Sidney, Patricia, and Madeline Earls; and one infant brother.
Survivors include her children, Jeannie Hill and husband Richard of Lerona, Henry Collins, Jr. and wife Wanda of Bastian, VA, Mark Collins and wife Tammy of Bozoo, WV, and Beth Mathena and partner Lloyd Enoch of Lerona; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Okey Slate officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
A time of visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the funeral home.
