PRINCETON Debra Marie Conner-Horeluk, 60, of Princeton, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Born December 8, 1956 in Princeton, she was the daughter of Delma Honaker Conner of Princeton and the late Lawrence Conner. She was a graduate of Princeton High School and earned her nursing degree from Bluefield State College.
Debra began her nursing career in 1989, having worked at Bluefield Regional Medical Center, Princeton Community Hospital and retired from Health South Rehab Center in 2014.
She was a member of Mt. Jackson Baptist Church in Athens. Debra was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. While her health permitted, she loved reading, needle point, cake making and was an avid WVU fan. She will be remembered for her smile and her Conner cackle.
Survivors include her two children, Warren Dale Smith II & wife Crystal of Princeton, Misty Hill & husband David of Lewisburg; Grandchildren: Alyssa, Autumn, Parker, Kaydince, Warren II, Hunter & Sarah; mother Delma Conner; siblings: Lawrence E. Conner Jr. & wife Pat, Kathy Conner, Glenna Woodring & husband Gary, Janet Conner, and Becky Chambliss & husband Brice. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 29, 2017 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Eugene Hazelwood officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
