BLAND — CONNIE MOREHEAD DEHART, 69, of the Hollybrook community of Bland, VA was called home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 20, 2017. She was born December7, 1947 at Bluefield, WV, the daughter of the late Gilbert Gordon ("Gibb") & Ola Clark Morehead. She was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ where she served with nonwavering faith. She loved her church family and enjoyed singing and encouraging others to sing along during services. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them all. She especially loved her grandbabies. She loved being outdoors whether for her daily walks or church picnics, mowing the grass or burning brush, she considered herself a farm girl. She was considered the rock of her family and a mother to everyone- often times putting others before herself. DeHart; her sons & daughters-in-law, Duane & Kristyna Dehart and Derrick & Allyson DeHart; her daughters & sons-in-law, Angie & Keith Conley and Stephanie & Scott Shull; 12 special grandchildren and 2 special great-grandchildren, with one on the way; her brother & sister-in-law, Randall & Jody Morehead; her sisters & brothers-in-law, Bonnie Blankenship, Sandra & John Warren, Melanie & Danny Bridges and Tommy Nunn; many special nieces and nephews and a host of special friends, neighbors and extended family.
