Cleo's Story

Cleo Dillow, of Lerona, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 27, 2017.
Born September 21, 1927 in Princeton, WV; she was the daughter of the late Franklin Cline Wert and Jessee Julia Barr Wert.
Cleo liked cooking and canning, but most of all loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Nelson Dillow; brothers and sisters, Edna Grace Lambert, E.B. Wert, Betty Carper, Louise Duncan, Winifred "Fred" Marshall, and Genevieve Chapman; and a grandchild, Steven Thomason.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Roger Harman and wife, Donna and Andy Woods and wife, Peggy; her twin brother, Cline "Bud" Wert and wife, Bernice; grandchildren, Roger Griffith, Jennifer Irick, Amy and David Rogers, Jason and Julia Thomason, Susan Griffith, Keith Griffith, and Missy and Brian Frazier; great-grandchildren, Daniel Irick, Lexi Hensley, Aaron Griffith, Colt Walls, Dylan Thomason, Conner Thomason, Caleb Griffith, Madison Rogers, Lexi Rogers, Kelci Rogers, Alex Griffith, Amanda Griffith, and Jenna Thomason; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Cleo Dillow will be held 3:00PM Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Garden of the Last Supper, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton with Preacher Terry Weatherly officiating with burial to follow. Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
