Claude Harold


Claude Harold "OJ" Jennings, 67, of Princeton died Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born June 2, 1951 in Princeton he was the son of the late Clifford Estil Jennings and Auntrenette Walker Jennings.
Before retirement Claude worked as a roof bolter in the coal mines in Herndon and was a member of the United Mine Workers Association. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Jean Jennings; brothers, Jeffery Jennings, Clifford Jennings, and Timothy Jennings.
He is survived by his sons, Jody Jennings and wife Angela of Princeton, and Darren Jennings and wife Megan of Princeton; grandchildren, Kayla Jennings, Brandon Fulp, Austin Fulp, Alexis Jennings, and Aiden Jennings; special friend who he considered a son, Chris Jenkins of Lashmeet; one sister, Vanessa Taylor of Princeton; and one brother, Jerry Jennings and companion Kristi Smith of Princeton.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor David Lee officiating. Burial will follow at the Jennings-Gross Family Cemetery in Matoaka.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour on Sunday.
