Clarence's Story

Clarence Dennis Baldwin, 65, of Princeton, died Monday, December 25, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Jenkinjones, WV March 29, 1953 he was the son of the late Clarence and Kathleen Kessinger Baldwin. He was a retired disabled maintenance department employee for Flowers Bakery in Bluefield. He was of the Baptist faith.
Dennis loved being involved with youth football and was dedicated to the success of their programs. He served as President of the Southern Mountain Football League for 25+ years; President and Coach for the Minutemen Football for 15 years and coached with the Princeton Raiders for the past 8 years. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.
In addition to his parents one brother, Doyle Baldwin, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Mary Sue Kiebert Baldwin of Princeton; three daughters, Susan Buckland and husband Steve of Narrows, VA, Kathy Baldwin and husband Brent Ferrell and Carolyn Baldwin all of Bluefield. Three grandchildren, Abryanna "Abby" Ferrell, Stephanie Buckland and Riley Ferrell; one sister, Jane Lee Wheeler and husband James of Beckley, WV and one brother, Jerry Kessinger of Oak Hill, WV.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Clarence will be conducted 7:00 PM Friday (today), December 29, 2017 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Daniel Gunnoe officiating and the WV National Guard Honor Guard providing Military Honors. Burial will be in Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 30, 2017.
Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at Seaver Funeral Home by 10:15 AM or at the cemetery by the service hour on Saturday.
