LASHMEET Wanda Charmaine Stables, 52, of Lashmeet went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born November 21, 1965 in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. Midkiff and Rainelle Shrewsbury Midkiff.
Char was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of First Community Bank, Ramey Auto in Princeton and Bluestone Healthcare Center. She was fun loving and always had a smile on her face. She was a joy to be around and she cherished her family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harless Midkiff and Ronald Midkiff and her loving mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nancy and Tommy Stables.
Char is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Jimmy Stables; she will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Johnny Midkiff and wife Kay of Lashmeet; three sisters, Deborah Snider and husband Donald of Princeton, Connie Phillips and husband Tom of Saulsville and Shelia Skeens and husband Ron of Peterstown; two sisters-in-law, Linda Lane of Princeton and Patsy Midkiff of Texas and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Rev. Gary Raulerson officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:00-12:45 p.m. at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
