Cecil  Hardin


Cecil Hardin 83, of Princeton, died peacefully, Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Princeton Community Hospital with his family by his side.
Born September 25, 1935 in Caretta, he was the son of the late Harvey and Tennessee Mayhorn Hardin.
Cecil loved the Lord and was a member of the Free Pentecostal Holiness Church in Princeton. He was a devoted husband, dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He will long be remembered for his hospitality and generosity. Cecil started his working career with Otis Elevator in Ohio then worked for the WV State Department of Highways in road maintenance where he retired with 21 years of service. Cecil loved tinkering in his workshop, landscaping and
helping those in need.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years Bonnie Hardin on April 16, 2019, a son Larry Wayne Hardin;
Siblings, Pauline Shrader, Joann McKinney, Joyce Winters, Gladys Underwood, Loraine Herald, Harvey Hardin, Jr., James Hardin, Bobby Hardin, Roy Hardin, two-half brothers, Tommy Land and Ray Land.
Those left to cherish his memory, are his four devoted children, Cecil Ray and Vonda Hardin, Harvey Lee and Tabitha Hardin, William David and Dana Hardin and Mollie Marie and Mike Fuller all of Princeton;
Nine grandchildren, Joe Rausch, Ashley Lancaster, Kala Day, Crystal McFadden, Zach Hardin, Madison Flinchum, Allen Hardin, Josh Williams and Morgan Williams; Nine great-grandchildren; One great-great-grandchild; Two sisters, Eula Blankenship of Princeton, Ruby Murphy and husband Robert of Ashland, OH; One brother, Fred Hardin and wife Sue of Princeton; Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Cecil Hardin will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 26, 2019 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor David Barnett officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The Hardin family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.

Man i just can't believe this but i guess in a way i can true love has to be together and they are walking in heaven like they always spoke about I'm very proud of these 2 they did it they get to rest easy with God I'm hurt but happy that they made it to the place they worked so hard to go love you guys and i hope some day I'll see you there thank you for all you have done for me and my family
