Betty Jo Worrell, 87, of Bluefield, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 25, 2018.
Born September 7, 1930 at Rocky Gap, VA; she was a daughter of the late Dennis Clyde Taylor and the late Rachel Carbough Taylor.
Betty was of the Baptist Faith; she loved talking on the phone, checking on others to make sure they were ok, shopping and finding sales. During her working career, everyone that worked for her loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ulus D. Worrell and a brother, Clyde J. Taylor.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving son, Keith Worrell and wife, Karen of Princeton; granddaughter, Lindsey Walker and husband, JR of Princeton; grandson, Michael Worrell of Princeton; granddaughter, Kayli Williams of Bluefield, WV; granddaughter, Chelsea Cole and husband, Jacob of Bluefield, WV; great-grandchildren, Madison Walker, Gage Walker, and Logan Walker, Tripper Cole, and Rustin Cole all of Bluefield, WV; a sister, Mary Sue Starling of Bluefield, WV; extended family and friends.
Services to celebrate the life of Betty Jo Worrell will be held 2:00PM Friday, March 2, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton with Pastor J.H. Kestner officiating with entombment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
