Annie Lee Hankins (Cochran), 84, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017.
She was the devoted wife of William Hankins for 65 years. Together they made a wonderful life and she always worked hard to make sure her family was well cared for. They had 8 children: Lee Roy (deceased), William Jr (Freda) of Lashmeet, WV, John (Jan) of Wellston, OK, Mary Boyer (Kenneth) of Randolph, OH, Larry (Kim) of Kent, OH, Rita Carver (Robert) of Bastian, VA, Richard (Patty) of Dublin, VA and Benjamin (Abby) of Alliance, OH. She was the matriarch of our large family that includes 65 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Rita Cochran. She is survived by her sisters: Wanda Brown (Joe) of Pleasantville, OH, Edna Traylor (Robert) of Idaho; brothers: Douglas Cochran (Nancy) of Gratton, VA and Johnny Cochran (Patty) of Bandy, VA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ben, Roger and Bill; sisters: Audrey Myer and Maxine Rose.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Bastian Union Church with Rev Paul Looney officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at the Bastian Union Church.
