Anita Kay Dalton PRINCETON - Early Wednesday morning, November 7, 2018, the matriarch of the Dalton Family passed peacefully at her home with all her family by her side.
Born August 6, 1938 in Matheny, WV she was the daughter of the late Harry and Juanita Stewart Phillips.
Anita was a graduate of Oceana High School. She was a retired employee for Rockwell International in Princeton with 30 years of service. The most important thing in Anita's life was her family, she loved cooking for them and having them in her home. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Phillips.
Those left to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 61 years, Oscar Lee "Deedle" Dalton; Four children, Tanga Cline and husband David, Ricky Dalton and wife Tammy, Jeff Dalton and wife Cathy; Cindy Dalton and Wes Eller; Six grandchildren; Fifteen great-grandchildren; Three siblings, Billy Ray Phillips, Harry Lee Phillips and Kim Stalnaker along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Anita Dalton will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday (Today) November 9, 2018 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Wes Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family today from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home.
