Americo Mariotti, 102, of The Havens at Princeton, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born November 9, 1915, in McComas, West Virginia, he was a first generation American, born to Italian immigrants Erminio and Natalina Mariotti.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Elizabeth; son, Ronald Mariotti; four brothers and five sisters.
Surviving children are his daughter Natalie S. Mariotti, of Washington, DC; and son Dolph Mariotti, of Tampa, FL; grandson Ronald II and wife Carrie of Gainesville, VA; grandson Mark and wife Melina of Greensboro, NC, with children Hampton and S11elby. Also left to cherish his memory is a sister Elettra Mariotti of Annapolis, MD.
Entombment took place at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Monday, January 29, 2018.
