PRINCETON Agnes Lucille Dishner, 85, of Princeton died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Glenwood Park Retirement Village. Born September 18, 1932 at Widemouth she was the daughter of the late Spence Elledge and Callie Mills Elledge.
She was a member of the Lord Jesus Church in Sylvatus, Virginia. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed going to church, reading her Bible, playing the piano and singing. She enjoyed working in her garden, canning, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Dishner; brothers, Robert, Daniel and David Elledge; sisters, Elva Croy, Helen Pendergrast, Mayfield Vance and Ruby White and sons-in law, John Holbrook, Phillip Stewart and Brady Lankford.
Survivors include children, Vickie Morgan and husband, Terry, Michael Dishner, Darene Lankford and Tammy Blankenship and husband Darrell all of Princeton; brothers, Raymond Elledge and wife Juanita of Hillsville, Virginia, Earl Elledge and wife Loretta of Vasser, Michigan and Larry Elledge of Logan; sisters Eddie Decker and Rosa Fisher both of Logan; 14 grandchildren, Amy, Susan, Eric, Margaret, Marlene, Michael, Jr., Dakota, Doreen, Tabatha, Chris, Crystal, Kaitlyn, Jennifer and Rachel; 24 great grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Elledge officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Pallbearers will be Max Doty, Chris Sizemore, Michael Dishner, Jr., Eric Morgan, Zach Comer and Jesse Redden.
